About Sarah Brazier

I’m a museum professional passionate about creating inclusive, engaging experiences that connect people with art, history, culture, and community. With a strong foundation in museum education, visitor engagement, and operations, I currently serve as Visitor Experience Coordinator at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University, where I oversee gallery operations, student staff development, and visitor-centered initiatives that support meaningful and accessible museum experiences for diverse audiences. Previously, I served as Director of Visitor Experience at the Two Mississippi Museums, leading frontline operations, gallery-based learning, admissions, outreach, and visitor engagement strategies for more than 82,000 annual visitors. My background includes museum operations, public programming, K–12 and adult learning, experiential staff training, curriculum development, accessibility initiatives, and large-scale event coordination. I’ve built collaborative partnerships with schools, educators, and community organizations while developing systems and programs that strengthen both operational effectiveness and audience engagement. I thrive in mission-driven cultural institutions where collaboration, creativity, and public service intersect. At the core of my work is a commitment to accessibility, empathy, and lifelong learning. Whether supporting visitor experiences, mentoring student employees, or contributing to exhibition and program planning, I aim to help museums become more welcoming, responsive, and impactful spaces for the communities they serve.
