During recent planning meetings for our upcoming webinar, participants discussed the importance of shared language in enabling their staff to prioritize well-being outcomes. That resonated — having accessible frameworks helps our community here, too. So we’re making some of those frameworks visible and adding to them over time.

Right now, there are two sections. Concepts & Definitions is pretty self-explanatory. Examples include stated vs revealed preferences, solution aversion, and the value of information — these are the kinds of ideas or principles that are useful when you’re trying to name an obstacle or make a decision as to how or whether you might need to begin a learning initiative at your institution. Well-Being Outcomes shows aggregate assessment data from participating institutions, displaying how staff perceive the value they deliver to visitors and members.

This will grow as concepts prove useful and as we gather more data. For now, it’s a starting point — a publicly accessible resource you can browse when you need language or frameworks for the work you’re doing.
