Measuring Belonging [Outcomes Lab Reading Group]

During The Outcomes Conversation, a few of us started talking about what it would look like to go deeper — to pull in research and literature that connects to the outcomes framework we’ve been working with and see where the conversation goes. That turned into this: a short reading series, starting with an article by C. Aaron Price and Lauren Applebaum, Measuring a Sense of Belonging at Museums and Cultural Centers. We’ll read the article and discuss: When we say we want visitors to feel like they belong, what are we actually measuring? We’ll read together for twenty minutes at the top, then talk for thirty. — Beth
