Motivations and Metaphors Pt. 1

Summary As culture-workers, we may be excited about the changes in our society leading to more diverse perspectives in our workspaces. But we may also be asking ourselves and each other some variety of the following question: “What language are we using to make sure everyone knows enough of what’s going on to achieve our goals?” This workshop is not meant to provide clear-cut answers, but to engage in a process of deconstructing and reconstructing the words and phrases we may take for granted (or maybe never even understood) to find ways to instill more direct and inclusive communication in our work.
